Description
The two hand tools most gardens use every week, forged from stainless steel and fitted with turned ash handles. The trowel blade is 6 inches long and 3 inches wide with a slight dish and a sharpened tip; the fork has three flat tines 5 inches long and 3 inches across. Both are 12 inches overall and weigh about 10 ounces each. The tangs run 4 inches into the handle and are pinned.
Stainless steel does not rust and sheds clay cleanly, so these need very little care beyond a rinse. Oil the ash handles once a season. Each tool has a leather hanging loop through the handle end.
