36 x 12 x 14 inch trough in 2mm weathering steel, welded corners, four drainage holes, develops a stable rust patina.
Description
A long, low trough folded and welded from 2mm weathering steel. It measures 36 inches long, 12 inches wide and 14 inches tall, holds about 2.5 cubic feet of soil and weighs 38 pounds empty. Four half-inch drainage holes are punched along the base and the top edge is folded inward so there is no sharp lip.
The steel arrives bright grey and forms its orange-brown patina over 6 to 10 weeks outdoors, faster with rain. Stand it on the included four rubber feet to keep the base off decking and to stop rust marks on stone. No sealing or painting needed; if you want the patina to stop early, wipe with a clear matte metal lacquer.
