Waxed Canvas Tool Roll

A tool roll cut from 18 ounce waxed cotton canvas in olive, lined with the same cloth, with eight pockets in two depths: four wide for trowels, forks and pruners, four narrow for a knife, dibber, pencil and labels. Open it measures 30 by 18 inches; rolled and buckled it is about 18 by 6 inches. Two vegetable-tanned leather straps with solid brass buckles hold it closed and a leather handle runs along the top.

Waxed canvas sheds light rain and brushes clean when dry. Do not machine wash. Re-wax with a bar of cotton wax every year or two, warming it in with a hair dryer. Made in a small workshop in Maine.
