Description
A traditional outdoor can in hot-dip galvanized steel, holding 2 US gallons. The body is 10 inches in diameter and 11 inches tall, with a 20 inch spout that reaches to the back of a border. The rose is turned brass with fine holes for seedlings and unscrews for a straight pour. Seams are soldered, not crimped, and the wire bail handle is wrapped in steel for a round grip. Empty weight 3.6 pounds.
Galvanized steel dulls to a soft grey over the first year and will not rust through. Empty it after use and store it on its side in frost so trapped water cannot split the spout.
