Frost-resistant Italian terracotta pots in 8, 10 and 12 inch sizes, each with a saucer and a single drainage hole.
Description
Three classic straight-rim pots in Impruneta-type terracotta, fired at high temperature so they resist frost down to about 5 degrees Fahrenheit. Sizes are 8 inches (6.5 inches tall), 10 inches (8.5 inches tall) and 12 inches (10.5 inches tall), measured across the rim, each with a matching saucer. Set weight about 19 pounds.
Terracotta breathes, so soil dries faster than in glazed or plastic pots, which suits herbs, pelargoniums and succulents. Soak new pots for an hour before planting. White mineral bloom on the surface is normal and scrubs off with a stiff brush and water.
